家兔静脉注射功能性碳纳米管的组织分布与排泄

The distribution of intravenously administered functionalized carbon nanotubes in rabbit tissue and their urinary excretion

  • 摘要: 为了研究功能性碳纳米管在动物活体内的代谢和组织器官分布特征,采用放射性同位素99mTc标记二乙烯三胺五乙酸(DTPA)接枝的多壁碳纳米管(MWCNTs),经静脉途径注入家兔体内,以单光子发射计算机体层成像系统(SPECT)和井型γ计数器收集一定时间段其体内心脏、肺、肝脏、肾等各器官的放射性强度,同时对家兔尿液离心沉淀物进行电镜分析。结果显示,经静脉注射MWCNT-DTPA-99mTc后主要分布在心脏、肝脏、脾脏和肾脏,随着时间的延长可缓慢被机体清除,在尿液电镜分析中发现了以原型排出的MWCNTs,表明MWCNTs可通过家兔泌尿系统排出体外。

     

    Abstract: Diethylenetriaminepentaacetic acid-functionalized multi-wall carbon nanotubes (MWCNT-DTPA) were labeled by 99mTc and intravenously administered to rabbits, the radioactivity in different organs was scanned by single photon emission computed tomography and a well-type γ counter. Results showed that the administered MWCNT-DTPA-99mTc was mainly distributed in heart, liver, spleen and kidney. Centrifugate from urine was subjected to transmission electron microscopy analysis which showed that MWCNTs could be excreted through the urinary system.
