Characterization of the microstructures of carbon fibers by X-ray diffraction

摘要: X射线衍射(XRD)作为研究材料内部晶态结构的重要方法,在炭材料表征技术领域有着广泛的应用。对炭纤维而言,观察相应衍射峰可以对晶态结构及其变化过程做定性的比较研究,也可以通过数据解析获得炭纤维的各类晶态结构参数,从而实现对内部织构及其变化过程的量化分析。近几年随着设备性能和应用技术的不断进步,XRD的一些新理论、新方法、新应用陆续出现,拓展了该技术在炭材料内部微应力、晶态织构、择优取向特征等方面的应用。有鉴于此,本文综述了近年来炭纤维微观结构表征技术在理论、技术及应用等方面的进展情况。着重阐述了XRD在炭纤维内部微观应力/应变、晶态结构、结构取向性、石墨化程度等方面的创新应用及数据分析技术。Abstract: Progress on the study of the structural features of carbon fibers using X-ray diffraction is reviewed, including the crystalline structural parameters of carbon fibers, orientation of crystallites along the fiber axis, degree of graphitization and micro-stress/microstrain, as well as their evolution during the manufacture of carbon fibers.
